You have a square face if: the sides of your face are straight and your face is as wide as it is long.

You have a defined square jawline and your hairline is probably straight. 

Facial Features:

Square shaped forehead, cheekbones and jaw line are the same in width.

A squared jaw line.

For square shaped faces your broad forehead and strong jaw line usually dominate, so go for long wispy layers and soft waves to slim down those wide areas and re-balance your face.

Normally if you have a square face, you would stay away from bangs. They tend to square your face off even more.
